The Occupational Therapist plans and implements treatment programs for patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. They are responsible for the overall occupational therapy program and must demonstrate advanced knowledge of various diagnoses and treatment techniques.
A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required, along with one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population. State OT Licensure and CPR certification are also necessary.
