The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents according to federal, state, and local standards, under the medical direction of the attending physician or Director of Nursing. This role emphasizes assessment, illness prevention, and health care management for assigned residents.
Applicants must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LVN in California and hold current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification. Familiarity with assisting residents with activities of daily living and taking vital signs is also required.
Pay rates are competitive and determined by various factors.
