The Registered Nurse collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient care by utilizing the nursing process. Responsibilities include providing professional nursing care, conducting assessments, assisting with treatments, educating patients, and maintaining medical records.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Professional Nursing, with a Bachelor of Nursing preferred, and hold a current Texas state license or compact license for professional nursing. Required certification includes Basic Life Support, with additional certifications potentially needed based on the unit.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing Certified in Basic Life Support Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements Experience / Knowledge / Skills: RN I <1 year RN II = 1-3 years RN III = 3-10 years RN IV = 10+ years
