The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and implementing necessary clinical nursing interventions. This includes developing and performing patient care plans to enhance outcomes while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients with medical and surgical diagnoses.
Candidates are required to possess a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and must have one year of RN experience, with six months preferred in an acute care hospital setting. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred, and while BLS is preferred upon hire, it must be obtained from an approved source prior to direct patient care.
