The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, operating within the scope of their license. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and educating patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up care.
Candidates must possess a current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from either the Georgia or Florida Board of Nursing, along with a valid state license for the working state or a Compact state license. A High School diploma or equivalent, or one year of applicable job-specific experience is required, though professional licensure can sometimes substitute for education or experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Provide direct patient care and administer medications under the supervision of an RN or physician, operating within license scope. Assist with patient assessment and ensure patient safety and well-being. Perform essential laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, self-care, holistic health needs, and post-discharge follow-up.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
