Dental Hygienists provide optimal services to clinic patients with a focus on preventative care under the supervision of a Dentist. They also educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Candidates must have a Dental Hygiene degree and be licensed to practice in Ohio, along with maintaining continuing education requirements. BLS certification and proficient computer skills are also required.

Dental Hygienists coordinate and provide optimal services to clinic patients, with a special focus on preventative care, under the direct supervision of the Dentist. They perform basic dental care tasks primarily focused on keeping the patient’s teeth and gums healthy and clean. The Dental Hygienist also educates patients and their care givers on proper dental hygiene practices and techniques. All care and services are provided in accordance with LCH&D’s philosophy of “partnership” with patients while integrating its values of Respect, Quality, Compassion and Hope.
