The Cardiac Sonographer I will perform comprehensive diagnostic echocardiograms, including bubble studies, stress echocardiograms, and TEEs, for both inpatients and outpatients using Philips Epiq CVx 3D ultrasound systems. Responsibilities also include ensuring patient comfort and safety, accurately documenting findings in PACS and EMR, and maintaining compliance with quality standards.
Candidates must be graduates of an Accredited Cardiac Sonography Program or possess two years of relevant experience above minimum qualifications, with less than one year of experience generally required. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days, and either RDCS or RCS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
