The Surgical Technologist works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse to facilitate safe and effective care during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing supplies and equipment, scrubbing on surgical cases, and participating in surgical counts.
Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility The Operating Room Surgical Technologists work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse circulator to facilitate safe and effective care. Functions in a professional manner on a wide variety of surgical procedures. Selects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for the surgical cases. Scrubs on surgical cases, operates surgical equipment, participates in surgery by organizing the instrumentation, participating in surgical counts, and performs related activities under the direction of the Registered nurse circulator and surgeon.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of surgical technology and have certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. One year of experience as a certified surgical technologist is preferred.
