Principle duties consists of assisting physicians in monitoring, collecting, and processing radiological and physiological data during diagnostic and interventional examinations and studies such as both coronary and peripheral diagnostic angiograms, PCI’s (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions), PTA’s (Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty). Monitors patients hemodynamically per department protocols and initiates appropriate interventions when indicated. Assessed patients before, during, and post-procedure, and documents accordingly. Prepares and educates patients and families prior to discharge.

Requires a current California Registered Nurse License and BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab is preferred, with 3 years and CCRN or RCIS certifications being highly desired.
