Candidates must be at least eighteen years old and possess a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, meeting all Nebraska Board of Pharmacy requirements. While three years of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, a minimum of one year in a hospital setting is highly preferred, and applicants must not have any drug-related felony or misdemeanor convictions.

Clinical Pharmacist Job Requirements · Eighteen (18) years of age or older · Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Hospital Pharmacy Administration or PharmD · Must meet State requirements for Pharmacist by the Nebraska Board of Pharmacy · Minimum of one to three years experience in hospital pharmacy preferred, but not required · Never convicted of any drug-related misdemeanor or felony · Satisfactory communication skills · Ability to work under stress and adapt to change · Must be knowledgeable of state and federal confidentiality laws, including but not limited to HIPAA, follow all policies, procedures and instructions regarding the privacy and security of protected health information applicable to the position. · Ability to Manage day-to-day pharmacy activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to regulations · Prior experience collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care · Able to providing medication counseling, drug therapy management, and patient education · Ensure proper medication dispensing, monitoring, and safety procedures · Familiar with formulary management and contributing to cost-effective medication utilization · Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy records in accordance with regulatory requirements
