The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in an outpatient setting. They will also provide medication management and therapy while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with other mental health professionals.
Candidates must have an active, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee and be a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO). A minimum of 2 years’ experience treating a diverse age range in private practice is required.
Role Summary Tennessee Mental Health & Psychiatry Group, which partners with and operates out of the Southeast Psych offices, is seeking a highly qualified, Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our thriving private, cash pay practice in Brentwood, TN. Our ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who is passionate about providing comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan—ages 5 through 80—in an outpatient setting who works a minimum of 16 hours per week with at least 1 day per week in person.
Active, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO) Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances. Minimum of 2 years’ experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults (ages 5–80) in private practice Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment About Tennessee Mental Health & Psychiatry Group You will be joining Tennessee Mental Health & Psychiatry Group, co-located with Southeast Psych Nashville in Brentwood, TN.
