UNITED WOUND HEALING PS·Puyallup, Washington
Fellows will train and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, traveling weekly to various post-acute care settings in Western Washington for clinical training and hands-on experience. This includes participating in customized didactic training in wound management, dermatology, and limb preservation, along with opportunities for board certifications.
Our mission is to change the lives of others suffering from complex and severe skin conditions by improving access to highly skilled skin and wound specialists. One in four American families has a family member suffering from a chronic wound, and access to specialists remains limited across our country. Mortality following major limb related amputations remains higher than most major types of cancer.
United Wound Healing’s fellowship training in wound management, dermatology, and limb preservation provides fellows with the necessary skills and board-certifications to enter your practice with the confidence gained from our 1-year program mentored by the leading experts and specialists in our field.
