Position Summary

The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our dentists and hygienists while ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. This position contributes directly to the efficiency of the practice and the overall patient experience. Key Responsibilities Assist dentists during general dental procedures Prepare and break down treatment rooms following infection control standards Take dental X-rays and intraoral images in accordance with Oregon regulations Sterilize, organize, and maintain instruments and equipment Welcome patients, review medical histories, and ensure patient comfort Provide chairside support and anticipate provider needs Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions Accurately document treatment notes and patient information in the practice management system Support the clinical and front office team as needed QualificationsQualifications EFDA Required DANB certification and/or X-ray certification required Previous dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements
