This role involves partnering with the Worker’s Compensation team to manage all location's Workers' Compensation cases from initial appointment through patient release. Key duties include coordinating appointments, acting as a liaison with employers and case managers, and ensuring accurate guarantor and coverage information is entered into the EMR for correct billing.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with demonstrated experience using computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred qualifications include post-secondary education, healthcare experience, and certification such as CWCP or MPWCP.

Act as employer and Case Manager Liaison by sending clinical notes and supporting documentation to adjusters and case managers daily for previous day Enter guarantor, coverage, and employer information in EMR to ensure correct billing Follow up with patient and adjustor or case manager on all missed appointments. Schedule Workers' Comp Appointments as needed Confirm physician return to work status is completed each visit and send it and dictation to Carrier/Adjustor/Employer immediately after visit. Collaborate with Worker’s Compensation Billing Specialist and Revenue Cycle Manager to address and take action to resolve all Workers' Comp issues. Obtain authorization for treatment, Physical Therapy, Functional Capacity Evaluation, Second Opinion, surgery, and any other MD orders for WC patients. Communicate all WC patient information daily to MD for appointments (e.g., pre-cert status, availability of light duty, etc.). Follow all company policies. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Qualifications: High school diploma or GED is required. Experience using a computer and the Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
CWCP or MPWCP Certification is preferred. Post-Secondary Education in a certificate or degree program from an accredited school is preferred, with a focus on any of the following: Certified LPN Certified RN Certified Athletic Trainer Certified Medical Assistant Certified Medical Billing or Coding One (1) year of healthcare experience. Current experience with an EMR, specifically EPIC, is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as excellent organizational skills.
