The role involves providing phlebotomy expertise, decision making, and problem-solving skills based on in-depth knowledge of phlebotomy procedures. This includes performing the collection, computer receipt, processing, and delivery of patient specimens for laboratory testing.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of an approved phlebotomy training program or one year of proven experience in a Hospital, Reference, or Physician Office Lab. Exceptional customer service and personal computer proficiency are also required.
