include conducting comprehensive oral examinations, diagnosing dental problems, and developing personalized treatment plans for patients. The role requires performing a wide range of procedures such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals while educating patients on proper care.
Candidates must possess a DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school and hold an active, unrestricted state dental license or be in the process of obtaining one upon graduation. Required certifications include CPR/BLS and DEA certification, along with an NPI number.
Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and evaluations to diagnose dental problems Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients Perform a wide range of procedures, including fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Provide prescriptions for patients as needed Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories Refer patients to specialists (like orthodontists or oral surgeons) for complex treatments Ensure all work is compliant with safety, OSHA, and infection control standards
