The RN utilizes the nursing process framework to provide professional nursing care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and manage patient discharge. The role involves providing quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader and developing teaching strategies based on patient/family input and goals.
Candidates must possess an Associate's or Bachelor's in Nursing, and hold a Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license along with AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Graduates from non-accredited schools require specific acute care or licensed healthcare experience plus successful NCLEX passage.
