The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include administering treatment programs and maintaining a safe working environment.
An Associate's degree for Physical Therapy Assistant and current PTA licensure in California are required. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience in outpatient and inpatient settings and BLS/CPR certification.

Summary/Objective Responsibilities include providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.
