Provide respiratory patient care within pediatric critical care, step-down, and general care areas. Perform and recommend procedures involving bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, and all levels of mechanical ventilation.
Requires a high school diploma and licensure by the ASBRT and registration by the NBRC or NPS credential. BLS is required within 90 days, while PALS, NRP, and ACLS certifications are preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: HS/GED Required. Must be licensed by the ASBRT and registered by the NBRC or credentialed as a Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) by the NBRC. Certification of PALS and NRP are preferred for all applicants and are mandatory within one year. Certification of BLS is preferred for hire processes and required within the orientation period, not to exceed 90 days of hire or transfer. Certification of ACLS is preferred.
