The RN in the Physician Practice provides direct, pre-operative, and intraoperative nursing care to patients under supervision, while also serving as a leader for the nursing care team. The RN - Physician Practice shall render direct, pre-operative, and intraoperative nursing care to patients under the supervision of the Nurse Managers or other assigned leaders, as well as to serve as a leader of a team engaged in giving nursing care. This individual shall participate in quality improvement, in-services, customer service, and have a clear understanding of the principles of aseptic technique, where applicable. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education /
Experience: Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Membership in AORN encouraged.
License /
Certification: Valid RN license required, BLS required, CNOR preferred, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required depending upon department assigned
