The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities. The LPN is accountable for compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies while providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and families.
Candidates must possess a Diploma in Practical Nursing and hold a valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license along with current AHA BLS certification. Required certifications include being certified to administer medications and IV Certification.
