The technician will perform necropsy laboratory procedures, including tissue collection, preservation, trimming, weighing, and data entry, adhering strictly to SOPs and regulatory guidelines. Support in the histology lab involves trimming, embedding, cutting, and staining collected tissues following established protocols.
A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or an Associate Degree/Certification in Histology, Laboratory Animal Technology, or Veterinary Technology is preferable but not required, as equivalent experience may substitute. Candidates must be able to work in a laboratory setting, handle animals and chemicals, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, tolerate strong odors, and possess basic computer skills for accurate data recording.

We are seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented team member to support client-driven projects using necropsy and histology techniques. The successful candidate will perform necropsy laboratory procedures, including but not limited to tissue collection/preservation, tissue trimming and weighing, and data entry, all in compliance with appropriate SOP, Protocol, and Regulatory Agency guidelines. In support of Histology, team member may also trim, embed, cut, and stain collected tissues, all in compliance with appropriate SOP, Protocol, and Regulatory Agency guidelines.
