The physician is responsible for providing patient care at a quality level consistent with recognized practice standards for their specialty within the hospital setting. They must also ensure timely preparation and completion of all required medical and patient records.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved medical school (MD/DO) and possess a valid unlimited medical license in Rhode Island, along with required Board certification or eligibility. Federal Narcotics DEA license and clinical privileges in the specialty are also mandatory.
