The CT Technologist operates CT equipment and provides care for patients under the direction of the CT Supervisor, adhering strictly to established policies and procedures set by Radiology Management and the Director of Imaging. This role requires demonstrating the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care across the patient lifespan according to departmental standards.
Candidates must be graduates of a Radiologic Science school and registered by the ARRT, with new non-CT registered hires required to obtain CT registry within one year. A minimum of current AHA BLS certification is mandatory, and one year of experience as a CT technologist, along with GE scanning experience, is preferred.
