The Physician is responsible for providing quality medical services, engaging in the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease, and rendering medical treatment consistent with professional standards of care. This role also requires completing accurate medical records, participating in after-hours call coverage, and adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, successfully complete residency, and be Board Certified or Board Eligible, requiring active Medical Staff Privileges. Essential requirements include being licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment, holding a Controlled Substance License, and possessing a Drug Enforcement Agency Number.
