$18 - $27 / HOUR
The primary responsibility involves timely and accurate patient registration, including interviewing patients for account information, verifying insurance, calculating and collecting patient liability, and obtaining necessary treatment signatures. This role also ensures physician orders are attached to the patient record and prepares necessary paperwork for distribution to the appropriate unit.
The preferred educational background includes a High School Education/GED or an Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Essential functions focus on accurate insurance verification, order attachment to medical records, following senior staff instructions, and performing other assigned job-related duties.
