The counselor provides direct counseling services, including individual, group, and family sessions, to patients under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor. Essential duties involve preparing and monitoring treatment/recovery plans and facilitating therapeutic interactions to develop patient skills.
Candidates must possess a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) certification in good standing and have a minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment program. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a Bachelor's Degree being a plus.
