Practice for this role

About the role

The radiologist will provide diagnostic, interventional, mammography, and sub-specialty imaging services across various health systems and imaging centers. The role includes reading all modalities and performing basic interventional procedures.

Immediate Opportunity for Full-time Radiologist for Acadiana Radiology Group, L.L.C.

Join a reputable, well-established and expanding independent group practice in Southern Louisiana covering several established health systems and imaging centers across Lafayette, St. Landry and Vermillion parishes. Our group practice of 12 members provides a multi-discipline approach of diagnostic, interventional, mammography and sub-specialty imaging across inpatient and outpatient hospitals and imaging centers.

The preferred candidate(s) would be capable of reading all modalities. Fellowship training and ability to perform light IR duties a plus, but not required. Our group places high priority on working relationships, job satisfaction, and quality of life while maintaining a strong radiologist income. Call is light and equally shared amongst all members.

We can offer an employed or partnership track position, remote or onsite, depending on the needs and qualifications of the candidate, and our compensation & benefits package are very competitive.

Candidates must be board certified (or board eligible) in general diagnostic and/or fellowship-trained imaging. Candidates should also be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology and basic interventional work (i.e. Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, LP's). Familiarity with pediatric imaging and breast imaging would also be beneficial, but not necessary.

Market context

Louisiana Nuclear Medicine Roles Need Credentials

In Louisiana, allied-health employers typically look for nuclear medicine technologists with current state licensure and dual ARRT and NMTCB registration, so demand tends to favor candidates who already meet all credentialing requirements. These roles are competitive because the required background combines an AMA-accredited radiologic technology education, a nuclear medicine certificate, and at least two years of experience in both nuclear medicine and radiology. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to save time, then confirm your licenses, certifications, and experience match before applying.
