The Graduate Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients while under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and maintain patient safety.
Minimum requirements include an Associate’s degree or Diploma of Nursing, eligibility for licensure by examination, and obtaining BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Candidates must also secure a Graduate Nurse Permit or RN license from the NM Board of Nursing by the start date.
The Graduate Nurse provides nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of an RN. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
