You will provide comprehensive preventive care and educate patients on oral hygiene. You will also assist in identifying and documenting dental concerns.
An Associate’s Degree from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program and a current South Carolina Dental Hygienist License are required. CPR Certification is also necessary, with preferred experience of 1+ years in dental hygiene.
Description Position Overview As a Dental Hygienist at Advanced Dental Center, you will serve as a key provider of preventive care and a trusted educator for our patients. You will partner closely with our doctors and team to identify periodontal and restorative needs early, support accurate diagnosis, and contribute to comprehensive treatment planning. What You’ll Do Deliver high-quality preventive and periodontal care, including prophylaxis, SRP, and periodontal maintenance Educate and motivate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and long-term oral health Perform thorough assessments, including charting, periodontal evaluations, and radiographs Identify and document potential restorative and periodontal concerns for doctor evaluation Build meaningful relationships with patients to increase trust, case acceptance, and retention Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with a supportive, team-driven clinical staff
Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from an ADA-accredited program Active South Carolina Dental Hygienist License (required) Current CPR certification 1+ year of clinical hygiene experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome Local anesthesia certification and/or sedation experience is a plus Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset Schedule Monday & Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday & Thursday: 7:45 AM – 7:00 PM Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM No weekends Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off (PTO) Supportive team culture and leadership Modern technology and systems to support your clinical success
