The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assessing and treating mental illness through evaluations and medication management. This role involves collaboration with the Medical Director to develop and monitor treatment plans while providing compassionate care in compliance with regulations.
Candidates must hold a degree as a PMHNP and be licensed as a psychiatric APRN with at least 2 years of outpatient/inpatient experience. Board certification and current BLS and ACLS certifications are also required.

Position Overview Overall responsibilities include assessment and treatment of mental illness through a combination of evaluations and medication management. Works collaboratively with the Medical Director. This individual provides safe, effective, and compassionate care that is consistent with State and Federal regulations and Company policies, procedures, and guidelines and within his/her scope of practice. This is an in-person position at the Alleviant Fayetteville clinic.
Job Context Facility work hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm; however, individual schedules may vary. Individual responsibilities are mostly limited to providing clients outstanding, satisfactory services. Additionally, contributing to the corporate culture and activities are expected. The atmosphere is positive, encouraging, and teamwork oriented.
