The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for performing safe anesthesia care, which includes pre-operative assessment and evaluation of patients. This role also involves participating and collaborating on the development and implementation of the anesthesia care plan and providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
Candidates must possess a California registered nurse license and CRNA license, along with certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. A Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred, and 1 year of experience as a CRNA is preferred.
