The Clinical Dietitian provides appropriate patient nutritional care, which involves assessing nutritional status, formulating a care plan, coordinating its implementation, and evaluating its effectiveness. Responsibilities also include providing nutrition education to patients and families and assisting in the development of a hospital formulary.
The primary requirement is being a Registered Dietitian, which is mandated by CMS requirements. One year of healthcare experience is desirable for this position.
Clinical Dietitian - PER DIEM - DAYS Provides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population.
Education and Work Experience Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement).
