The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide compassionate, hands-on occupational therapy services under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist to help patients maintain dignity, independence, and comfort. Essential functions include participating in functional status evaluations, assessing home environments, retraining patients in daily activities, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
Candidates must be graduates of an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and possess current state certification or licensure as required. A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a COTA, current CPR certification, and a reliable, insured automobile are mandatory qualifications.
