Registered Nurses will treat infants, children, and adolescents according to the active plan of care, administering prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies with precision. Responsibilities also include performing specialized nursing skills like central line dressing changes, wound care, and educating patients and families on disease processes and self-care.
A current Colorado Registered Nurse License is required, along with an active nursing license in good standing. Six months of recent experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting and home health experience are preferred qualifications.
Treatment of infants, children, adolescents, or young adults according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies Documents all activities, assessments, nursing actions, and responses Educates the patient and family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, and in meeting the patient's nursing needs. Perform wound care Manage case load Care coordinate with providers and patient families Practice safe delivery of physician ordered care to pediatric patients in a home environment Perform patient assessments Provide feeding tube management and education Administer and manage medication Provide central line management, lab draws, and infusion education Perform tracheostomy education and urinary catheter management and care Perform accurate and concise documentation Qualifications Active Nursing License in good standing (required) One year + of recent experience as a Nurse in a clinical care setting (preferred) Home health experience (preferred) Attention to detail Time Management skills Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution Good organization and effective communication PICC/Central line experience (preferred) An active Colorado (or compact state) registered nurse license in good standing Flexibility & dependability Homecare experience (preferred)
This Role has two compensation models that the Candidate can choose from: Per Visit Model - $70-$75 per Visit | $90-$100 per Start of Care Salary Model - The range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 annually. You are also eligible for a monthly auto and cell phone allowance totaling $4,200.00 annually. Compensation is dependent on experience, tenure, and number of visits worked.
