The LPN/LVN is responsible for administering nursing care to terminally ill patients enrolled in the VITAS program according to the established plan of care. This duty must be performed in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act of the state where the VITAS program operates.
The primary requirement is the ability to function as an LPN/LVN, administering nursing care as outlined in the plan of care for terminally ill patients. All team members must commit to professionalism, collaboration, teamwork, and continuous growth.
