About the role

The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Key duties include developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy, monitoring progress, and educating patients and families.

Position overview

Inabia is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the Rehabilitation Therapy team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

The therapist will work closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to provide patient-centered care and help individuals regain communication abilities and functional independence.

Key responsibilities

Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals.

Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia disorders.

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and home programs.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy notes according to facility and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state license or compact license required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.

Requirements
