About the role

The Occupational Therapist will perform patient evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy services in a hospital setting. They will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support discharge planning and ensure accurate clinical documentation.

Position overview

Inabia is looking for a Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Hospital / Acute Care setting. If you’re passionate about patient-centered care and enjoy collaborating with a supportive team, we’d love to meet you. You’ll help patients maximize independence with daily activities through evidence-based OT interventions and compassionate coaching. You’ll collaborate with the care team on goals, discharge planning, and caregiver education to support safe transitions

Key responsibilities

Perform evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and deliver therapy services based on patient needs.

Provide daily treatments, track functional progress, and support discharge planning.

Collaborate closely with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.

Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

Provide evidence-based interventions in pediatric and acute-care settings.

Float to assigned rehab coverage areas as needed to support patient care needs.

Qualifications

  • Active Montana Occupational Therapist license required.
  • OTR/L (MOTR/L) credential required.
  • 3+ years of pediatric OT experience required.
  • 2+ years of acute-care OT experience required.
  • Experience with Cerner or a similar EHR preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

SCHEDULE • Shift

  • 8 Hour Day Shift
  • Monday through Friday day shift; occasional weekend or holiday coverage may be needed.
