The medical assistant provides basic clinical care, collects patient assessment data, and assists with exams and diagnostic procedures. They also maintain clean clinical areas, document patient information in electronic medical records, and assist with administrative tasks like scheduling.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and a recognized Medical Assistant Certification. Additionally, an AHA BLS-HCP certification is required for this role.
