The LPN will assist caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to diverse patients within the Orthopaedic Surgery department, which includes administering medication and maintaining accurate documentation. Essential duties involve knowledge of all aspects of patient care, including assessing, planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient progress in conjunction with the RN or physician.

As an LPN supporting Orthopaedic Surgery, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.
00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Provide professional nursing care to patients.
Administer medication.
Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and files.
Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
Follow Code Blue protocol.
