• Springfield Residential - 2200 Lake Victoria Dr, Springfield, IL 62703
• Residential Center - Adult Male and Female population

Work Schedule

• Two days Per Week (16-20 hours)
• This role has the potential to be a hybrid position (on-site at Springfield, and Work from Home)

Dietitians responsibilities

• Consults with and instructs clients with complex nutritional deficiencies, determining extent and duration of diet therapy and instructs clients and clients' families in appropriate diet upon dis-charge.
• Reviews and interprets physician prescribed diets, calculating special diets, writing nutritional care plans, and evaluating and documenting clients' response to diet therapy.
• Interviews clients with complex nutritional deficiencies, determines suitability for treatment and prepares written evaluations of clients' nutritional state.
• Confers with physicians and nursing personnel in order to clarify orders, recommend appropriate diet treatments and exchange client information.
