The Dietitian will consult with and instruct clients regarding complex nutritional deficiencies, determining therapy duration and providing discharge diet instructions to clients and families. Responsibilities also include reviewing physician-prescribed diets, calculating special diets, writing nutritional care plans, and documenting client responses to therapy.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a closely related field and hold current Dietician Nutritionist licensure (LDN) active in Illinois. The role requires analytical ability to solve problems and interact appropriately with clients based on their maturation level.
