The role is responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy modalities and performing respiratory assessments for patients of all ages across all care areas, including critical care, NICU, or Labor & Delivery at a 25-bed acute care hospital. The therapist must perform these duties independently, adhering to facility policies and demonstrating Service Excellence standards.
Candidates must be graduates of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Therapist program and possess at least one year of experience in acute/critical care respiratory therapy. Required credentials include Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the NBRC, a current Nevada Practitioner of Respiratory Care License, minimum Nevada Blood Gas Technologist status, and current BLS and ACLS certifications from the AHA.
Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Therapist program.
Experience: One (1) year in acute/critical care respiratory therapy
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department, and provide the care/service as described in the department policies and procedures.

For new blood gas license personnel applicants – you must apply within the first 14 days of hire. **Additional certifications may be required for certain facilities.”
