The Registered Nurse performs professional nursing duties to maintain the physical health of residents in a mental health nursing care facility, including assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care according to accepted standards. Responsibilities also involve writing comprehensive care plans and serving as the Charge Nurse to coordinate facility activities in the supervisor's absence.
Candidates must possess a current Montana State Registered Nurse (RN) License or an RN License with Multistate privilege in a Compact State, along with knowledge of nursing practices, medications, treatment planning, and patient rights. Preferred qualification includes two years of professional nursing experience, though other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
