The Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician will be an integral part of the patient care team, working closely with veterinarians and staff to implement prescribed treatment plans and monitor patient responses to therapies. Key duties include maintaining treatment areas, updating patient records, assisting with client education, and participating in staff training and public outreach events.
Candidates must be skilled in all treatment modalities, remain current in animal rehabilitation services, and be able to implement prescribed treatment plans while monitoring patient status changes. Preferred skills include the ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in handling and lifting animals of all sizes, effective communication, and certification or pursuit of certification in canine massage, always utilizing positive reinforcement.

Our veterinary services include trauma treatment and critical care, medical oncology, radiation therapy oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, dentistry/oral surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, MRI and CT, endoscopy, rehabilitation, and emergency services.
We are looking to add a skilled Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician. By joining VRC you will be supported by a team of excellent nurses and assistants along with experienced, board-certified veterinarians. We utilize the latest innovations in medicine and technology to treat companion animals on an emergency basis and/or long-term ailments.
