Assist the surgical team in a high-volume 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital. Provide high-level nursing care, perform various medical procedures, and support specialty surgical and dental cases.
Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician or an experienced technician with strong communication skills. Candidates should be able to remain composed in stressful situations and be committed to exceptional patient care.

VESH is a high volume, progressive 24-hour ER + Specialty Hospital (only one in a 2-hour radius). We have a BRAND-NEW building, 15,000 square feet, fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Much like the care an emergency room provides for humans, Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita offers help when primary veterinarians are not available. We are an extension of the services they provided.
Our team offers emergency and overnight nursing care as well as care on weekends and major holidays. We also provide specialty surgical care, dentistry/oral surgery on weekdays by appointment. CT & Ultrasound services are available if indicated by our patients’ treatment needs.
You are a Registered Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Technician with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You can remain composed during stressful & emotional situations and enjoy the thrill of not knowing what is going to come next.
