The Speech Language Pathologist will make home visits to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. Responsibilities also include developing and revising treatment plans, educating patients and families, and accurately documenting all patient care activities.
Candidates must possess a current Speech Language Pathologist license in Pennsylvania and meet ASHA certification requirements, which includes holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence or being in the process of obtaining it. Prior home care experience is beneficial but not mandatory, and solid computer skills are required.
