The physician will provide clinical collaboration and oversight to advanced practice providers and nursing staff, offering consultation on patient care, diagnosis, and treatment planning within a youth residential program. Key duties include reviewing and signing off on patient charts, supporting compliance, and assisting in developing clinical protocols.
Applicants must hold an active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Kentucky and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty, maintaining current malpractice insurance. Experience working collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants is preferred.
Licensure Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in the State of Kentucky. Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant specialty. DEA registration (if prescribing oversight is required). Current malpractice insurance coverage. Experience working collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants preferred. Strong communication and mentorship skills. Physical and Regulatory Requirements Must maintain active licensure and credentials throughout the contract period. Must comply with all federal, state, and organizational policies regarding collaborative practice.
