The Outpatient Psychotherapist will serve as the primary therapist for an assigned caseload, conducting assessments and providing therapy. They will also manage discharge planning and participate in treatment team meetings.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a behavioral or social science field and be license-eligible in Pennsylvania. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential, along with a commitment to completing clinical supervision.

Northern Tier Counseling, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, motivated Outpatient Psychotherapist (License Eligible) to join our growing outpatient team. What you'll do... Serve as the primary therapist for an assigned caseload Conduct psychosocial intake assessments Provide individual, group, and couples/parenting therapy Develop and update treatment plans Complete ongoing clinical assessments and progress reviews Manage discharge planning and coordinate aftercare Deliver medically necessary psychotherapy under supervision of a licensed Psychologist or Psychiatrist Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with state, federal, and agency standards Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Prepare professional documentation and court testimony as required Interpret written, verbal, and schedule-based instructions Complete administrative calculations related to reimbursement and clinical documentation Participate in private contract work where eligible (details discussed during interviews)
Master’s degree in a behavioral or social science field License or license-eligible status in Pennsylvania (e.g., LSW, LPC-eligible) Knowledge of child, adolescent, and adult psychopathology Familiarity with common therapeutic modalities and interventions Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team Commitment to completing clinical supervision and requirements toward licensure
The Mental Health Therapist is a professional member of the outpatient staff and is responsible for the provision of psychotherapeutic activities with an assigned caseload.
