The RCP Student Tech provides quality respiratory care under the direction of a Respiratory Care Practitioner, performing procedures based on patient needs. They also promote patient engagement and continuity of care while ensuring a safe environment.
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care Program and be in their second year of study. Additionally, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Under direction of RCP/RT, assists with basic respiratory procedures and patient care, supporting the cardiopulmonary process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Prior clinical respiratory exposure preferred.
