Job Summary

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a salaried, 26-week-per-year position providing comprehensive care across all age groups in both the hospital and emergency room settings.

Compensation: $150,000

Key responsibilities

  • Patient
  • Care: Diagnose, treat, admit, and manage patients with complex conditions.
  • ER
  • Duties: Conduct consults, triage, and provide emergency care.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Procedures: Order and interpret tests; perform procedures as needed.

  • Compliance: Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to medical regulations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
  • 1+ years of ER or inpatient experience (required).
  • Board Certified in Family, Emergency, or Hospital Medicine.
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS/CALS.
  • Licensed (or eligible) in North Dakota with DEA credentials.
  • Strong independent decision-making, leadership, and adaptability skills.
  • Comfortable with a block-based schedule.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with at least one year of ER or inpatient experience. Required certifications include ACLS, PALS, and ATLS/CALS, along with North Dakota licensure and DEA credentials.
